Cambridge Forum is pleased to welcome Heather Rogers, author of Green Gone Wrong, to kick off Climate Change Week in Cambridge: eight days of events about facing and reducing the escalating threats of a changing climate. Solutions for climate change aren't known, but science tells us that our consumption, what we eat, and the products and services we buy, contribute to the problem. What can be done about the products that contribute most? Heather Rogers has investigated whether earth-friendly products are a solution. Tim Weiskel moderates the discussion.

Heather Rogers

Heather Rogers is a journalist and author. She has written for The New York Times Magazine, Mother Jones, and The Nation. Her first book, Gone Tomorrow: The Hidden Life of Garbage, traces the history and politics of household garbage in the United States.

You will pass the Harvard Coop, Bank of America, and CVS. The First Parish Church is located at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Church St. Please enter through the front door of the church.
