Come in and browse the thousands of used paperback books in the basement of Harvard Book Store.

If you want to sell us your books:

• All purchases are at the discretion of the buyer.
• Used Book Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Note: we will not be buying used paperbacks from Saturday, April 17 until Tuesday, April 27 to allow for that department's inventory.
• Payment: 15% of the cover price for cash, 20% of the cover price for store credit.
• We primarily buy paperbacks. We very selectively buy hardcovers.
• We are especially looking for: Architecture, Art, Chess, Classical Studies, European History, Everyman Library, Library of America, Loeb Classics, Mathematics, Modern Library, Philosophy, and Photography. We may purchase hardcovers in these subjects.
• We also buy the following subjects: African-American Studies, Anthropology, Childrens', Cookbooks, Cultural and Critical Theory, Drama, Essays, Fiction, Film, Gardening, Graphic Design, Graphic Novels, History, Linguistics, Literary Criticism, Martial Arts, Music, Mystery, Native American Studies, Occult (including Astrology, Numerology, Tarot, Withcraft), Poetry, Psychology, Religion, Science, Science Fiction, and Sociology.
• We do not buy: Textbooks, Romances, Westerns, True Crime, Computer Books, or out-of-date Travel books.
• Condition of Books: Books should not have notes, highlighting or underlinging, and pages must be securely bound into the book.
