Its too late to register for the primaries, but you can still register to vote for the general election, which takes place on Tuesday, November 3. To register, you must be a United States citizen who will be 18 years old on or before election day.
There is no waiting period to be eligible to register to vote. If you move, you may register to vote as soon as you move into your new home. The deadlines are: 20 days before presidential primaries, regular state primaries and elections, city or town elections, town meetings, special primaries, and special elections, and 10 days before special town meetings If you register during a "closed" period, you will be eligible to vote only in later elections.
