If you happen be a Cambridge resident, we've just put up a wonderful new display in the store that might interest you. Featuring titles recommended by the officials you've elected here in Cambridge, the display includes some real surprises. We've collaborated with the Cambridge Public Library so that you can borrow rather than buy these titles, if you'd prefer. Click here to see what they read.


Harvard Book Store is Publishers Weekly's 2002 Bookseller of the Year! 

Publishers Weekly has named the Harvard Book Store 2002 Bookseller of the Year. The award will be made at a ceremony at the industry's annual convention, Book Expo America, on May 4, 2002 in New York City. Click here to read more.


A Valentine in March

Book Store Events 

This March brings Sara Hall (Drawn to the Rhythm), James Watson (Genes, Girls, and Gamow), and Gary Bass (Stay the Hand of Vengeance) to Harvard Book Store to speak about their latest work. See the entire schedule here.

Friday Forum Series 

The Friday Forum invites prominent scholars into the Harvard Book Store for a spirited discussion of their recently published academic work. The talks take place in Harvard Book Store at 3pm and are free of charge.

Richard Kearned will discuss her new book On Stories: Thinking in Action on March 1st. And then on the 8th, Jill Lepore will be talking about A is for American. Richard Chait (The Questions of Tenure) on March 15th, and Elizabeth Schneider (Battered Women and Feminist Lawmaking) on March 22nd round out the rest of the month.

The March Select Seventy: exceptional titles all discounted 20% for the entire month. This month, we have a spotlight on Cities and the Oscars.
