The Harvard Film Archive is located in the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts on 24 Quincy Street, around the corner from the bookstore. We are pleased to participate in two very special happenings at the Film Archive in May.

Wednesday, May 5, 5pm
Pulitzer Prize winner Tracy Kidder, author of such works as House and The Soul of a New Machine, will introduce his latest book. is about civilization, told in microcosm. It makes us marvel afresh at the wonders of civic order - how a motley group of individuals can abide by a code of values that transforms a place into a home.

Tuesday, May 25, 6 pm
David Foster Wallace, author of Infinite Jest, will be introducing his new collection, . These stories explore intensely immediate states of mind, with the attention to voice and extraordinary creative daring that have won Wallace his reputation as one of the most talented fiction writers of his generation.
