Boston author Sue Miller (The Good Mother, While I Was Gone, Inventing the Abbots) reads from her new novel, The World Below. Miller's magnificent new novel showcases her talent for exposing the nerves that lie hidden in marriages, families, and the lives of women. Set in Maine, 1919, and in present-day Vermont, the stories of two women are linked by bitter disappointments, compromise, and powerful grace.
