Harvard Book Store is delighted to announce that on Wednesday, December 4th Wendy Luttrell will be talking about her new book, Pregnant Bodies, Fertile Minds: Gender, Race, and the Schooling of Pregnant Teens. One of today's greatest social issues, pregnant teens walk the boundary between childhood and adulthood. Now Wendy Luttrell counters the stigmatizing ways in which such girls have been traditionally held with this moving ethnography of their lives.

Wendy Luttrell is an Associate Professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is the author of School-smart and Mother-wise and winner of the 1998 Oliver Cromwell Cox Award.
