Harvard Book Store Author Series Presents:

Emily Franklin

Harvard Book Store is pleased to announce that on Thursday, October 2nd local author Emily Franklin will be reading from her first novel, Liner Notes – a story that stems from a box of mix tapes and has a built-in soundtrack.

With 3,000 miles ahead of her and a box full of mix tapes, Laney envisions her cross-country drive as the perfect chance to reflect on her past. Her most treasured memories, including first camp kisses and high school crushes, are only a song away. Then her mother decides to join her, and Laney ends up giving her a crash course not only in the pop songs of the ‘70s and ‘80s but also in her own life.
